Trade Navigation was established in the year 1985 as a sister company of Unimarine Shipping Lines Ltd.
The company has been involved in Commodity Trade, import-Export and CNF works having successful
track records till date.
The owner of the Company- Mr.Imtiaz Ikram, who have been also one of the Directors of Unimarine Shipping Lines Ltd., Unistar Shipping Ltd., Eastern Shipbreaking Industries Ltd., Chittagong (formed by Mr.Md.Iqbal, Chairman & Managing Director) the former Exclusive Representative of Eckhardt Marine GmbH, Hamburg, West Germany, who had sold about 600+ Scrap Ships of different tonnages including VLCCs to Bangladesh market during the period of 1981 to 1992 having successful performance on each & every deals concluded with the local buyers.
But unfortunately, after the sudden demise of Late Mr.G.Welsberg (with his family and other officials by a plane crash at India during their business trip) and later as well the retirement of Mr.B.Heinze (the then Managing Directors of Eckhardt Marine GMBH, Hamburg) the business relation could not have been continued further.
Apart from the previous business activities Trade Navigation is now independently handling all trading activities for a wide range of products with trusted suppliers & buyers globally.
